Multi Skilled Engineer in
High Blantyre, South Lanarkshire

Salary:
£38,118 per annum

Rotational shift pattern:

Early: 7am 2pm
Back: 1pm 11pm (flexible if required)
Night: 10pm 6am

As a
Multi Skilled Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial processing equipment and production machinery
Repairing and maintaining rolling stock and facilities
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment for all employees and customers complying with safety procedures in place

The ideal
Multi Skilled Engineer will have:

The ability to adopt a flexible and reactive approach to machine maintenance and breakdowns
The ability to work in both a challenging and interesting environment
Involvement in preventative and predictive maintenance activity
Proactive involvement in improvement projects
The ability to work strictly within current Health and Safety guidelines
Ability to read electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, CAD drawings, and Timing charts
Strong project management skills
Selfmotivation with the ability to think as an individual with wellreasoned decisionmaking qualities
Ability to read and understand electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics
A working knowledge of computerised maintenance databases
Time served apprenticeship either electrical or mechanical
HNC/Engineering degree or time served with equivalent, relevant experience
