Description

As a supervisor at the antique center, your role is to oversee the daily operations of the centre and ensure that it is running smoothly and efficiently.

This includes managing and supervising the staff, maintaining inventory levels, ensuring that the store is clean and organised, and maintaining relationships with customers and Antique dealers.

One of your main responsibilities will be managing the staff. This includes setting goals and expectations, providing guidance and support, and evaluating employee performance.


You will also be responsible for conducting employee training sessions and ensuring that all staff members have the knowledge and skills needed to perform their job duties effectively.


In addition to managing the staff, you will also be responsible for maintaining inventory levels and ordering new stock as needed.

You will also need to keep track of the centre's financial records and prepare reports for the antique dealers and management as needed.

As a supervisor, you will be the primary point of contact for antique dealers visiting the store.

This means that you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be responsible for handling enquiries, complaints, and requests.


Overall, your role as a supervisor at the antiques center is crucial to the success of the business and will be an integral part of the business.


By effectively managing the staff and operations, you will help to ensure that the store is running smoothly and efficiently, and that customers are receiving the high level of service they expect.


Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 12 per week


Salary:
£10.00-£12.50 per hour

  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • Retail management: 1 year (preferred)
  • Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
