We offer 1 full time permanent position for a newly qualified (or soon to be) Speech & Language Therapist who is interested in starting their career working with autistic adults and adults with intellectual disabilities.

The job is based in Nottingham (Highbury Hospital) with community working in the wider area.

You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team (Community Intellectual Disability Team (CIDT)) focusing on enabling adults with neurodevelopmental conditions to live well in their community.

You will have a fixed caseload, opportunities to join several innovate therapeutic projects, as well as complete your core competencies setting you up for a career in SLT and IDD services.

Nottinghamshire IDD services is undergoing transformation and we would love to welcome new colleagues who are interested in being part of the change.

In return you will become part of the highly respected, passionate and quality focused Speech and Language Therapy Service for IDD and Mental Health in Nottinghamshire - who work across Youth Justice, CAMHS, IDD, Autism services, and Forensic services.

You will be well supported and supervised by a Highly Specialist SLT, with many opportunities for peer support.
