An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Nursing Recruitment Coordinator to support the recruitment of Nurses, Midwives, and Health Care Support Workers across our hospitals.


As part of the Nursing Recruitment Team, you will be responsible for support and advice for health professionals starting work with UCLH.

You will also manage all elements of compliance and on boarding employment checks, in line with NHS employer standards.


It would be advantageous to have a working knowledge of Recruitment systems such as ESR and Trac as well as Excel and Outlook.


This is the perfect time to join the team as we continue to grow and support various clinical areas in the Trust.

This is an ideal role for a compassionate individual with excellent communication skills.

You will have a real understanding about what it takes to support people who are in a new environment and new role.


The post holder will contribute to, and provide key elements of, a comprehensive and high-quality project support service to the Nursing Recruitment Team, dealing with the practical tasks and requirements which are essential to support high quality delivery of current and planned recruitment campaigns.


This post holder will be required to undertake a range of tasks that require the exercise of initiative within defined limits.


The post holder will work under the supervision of the Recruitment Project Manager and will demonstrate a positive approach to multi-disciplinary working.

Central to the success of this role are good negotiation skills, and the ability to provide support to all team members when required

Your primary responsibilities are to:

Actively promote a team culture dedicated to the customer experience

Champion a target driven approach to recruitment ensuring you deliver KPIs and targets

Manage the administration of recruitment from advert to offer including (but not limited to):
putting job descriptions the correct template

following the recruitment plan for each campaign

advertising vacancies

long listing for high volume campaigns

sending shortlisting

setting up interviews and assessments

advising managers on best practice

Ensure all legal and best practice standards are adhered to.

Ensure changes to legislation and best practice in relation to recruitment and doctors are adhered to

Act on customer feedback and ensure that you continuously improve

Seek feedback and coaching to continually learn and develop as a professional

Ensure all mandatory training is kept up to date

Ensure you adhere to the action plan for HPMA competency framework

Support the delivery of the vacancy rate reduction across the organisation in line with targets and objectives
