Our client are a world leading design and manufacturer of single use surgical products, located in the North Moons Moat area of Redditch are looking to add a payroll administrator to their team.


£12.50 per hour, 3 days per week, potential to work from home


The Role:


  • The Payroll Administrator will report and work with the HR team and will be responsible for helping to run monthly payroll of over 100 permanent staff members.

Duties will involve:


  • Reviewing expenses and processing the monthly payroll, ensuring all figures balance Dealing with timesheet/invoice/pay queries using sage computer software
  • Processing new starters & leavers
  • Dealing with all aspects of statutory payments and deductions
  • Processing information for external third parties, such as Child Support Agency and DWP
  • Processing payments by BACS
  • Producing and analysing reports
  • Checking and approving payments before sending to the bank
  • Reconciliation of payrolls

Position Requirements:


  • Up to date knowledge of PAYE rules / Autoenrolment pension
  • Good administration, planning, organising and time management skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working to tight deadlines and able to use own initiative
  • High level of customer service orientation and ability to deal with people at all levels
  • Good computer skills, including the ability to operate excel spreadsheets, Sage accountancy software and word documents at a proficient level

Hours / Pay Rate:


  • Monday to Wednesday /
  • Open to flexible / Part time working pattern
  • Working from home will also be considered
- £12.50 per hour.
