We are a respected, privately owned and successful IFA firm serving clients throughout the UK for more than 40 years.

Providing; a full range of financial planning services to individual and corporate clients.

We are looking for an experienced administrator. The role will provide support to the company director and will cover pension, investment, and tax planning work.

You will preferably have a whole of market pensions and investment knowledge and be familiarwith a wide range of provider platforms.

You will help to manage the director's diary, liaise directly with clients and prepare required documentation for client meetings and reviews, including reports.

We are looking to for an administrator who is keen togrow with the company and opportunities and support for progression are available.

This is an excellent role for someone who is pro-active, confident, professional, and able to make independent decisions.


Your duties would include

  • First point of contact for clients.
  • Arranging client meetings and preparing meeting packs.
  • Processing and monitoring of business (new and existing).
  • Ensuring financial transactions are completed correctly and files are fully FCA compliant.
  • Managing pipeline business.
  • Diary management.
  • Obtaining and interpreting information from providers and fund managers.

Essential

  • Demonstrable experience in an IFA administration support role.
  • Knowledge of the Financial Conduct Authority rules and financial regulations.
  • A working knowledge of investments, pensions and protection insurance, as well as other financial products.
  • Strong IT skills, essential in MS Office.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills with close attention to detail.
  • Able to demonstrate an adaptable/flexible approach to work within a changing and highpressure environment.
  • Ability to work within a team environment, unsupervised with a high level of selfmotivation and ability to manage own workload.

Benefits

  • Salary £23,000 £28,000 per year.
  • Full time hours Monday to Friday 9.00am and 5.00pm.
  • 5 working weeks holiday plus 10 public holidays.
