We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the East Suffolk Council's Internal Audit Team as a Senior Internal Auditor.


The Role:


Your responsibilities will include undertaking risk-based audit assignments, providing consultancy advice and guidance upon risk and good governance, and projects at a senior level, and supervising junior officers carrying out a range of assignments covering all aspects of the Council's operations.


You will be IIA/AAT qualified/part-qualified or equivalent, with a proven track record in delivering internal audit services at a senior level.

Working with minimal supervision and using your own initiative, you should also be able to communicate complex information effectively and have the ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships.
