Description
Madisons are recruiting a Workshop Plant Fitter to get started on a permanent basis in Northampton, Northamptonshire.


Duties:


  • Service, and inspect plant equipment prior to delivery for various sites for hire.
  • Repair & locate faults with equipment inline with manufacturer recommendations and in a timely fashion to ensure minimum downtime.
  • Service equipment inline with manufacturers recommendations.
  • Carrying out inspections for all equipment.
  • Follow the procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Understanding of engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
  • A professionally recognised qualification in plant maintenance and repair (NVQ level 3 or equivalent.)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Word)
  • Excellent communication & organisational skills
