This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to join our friendly team here in the practice education department.


We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to support and facilitate a positive learning experience for pre-registration Nurses and Trainee Nurse Associates across the Trust.


The post holder will be supported to develop their understanding of the pre-registration Nursing agenda, whilst expanding their network through partnership working underpinned by the Trusts education strategy.


  • Provide support for the practice and assessment process by explaining and monitoring the use of assessment documentation and the criteria for achievement.
  • To work collaboratively with clinical area staff and Practice Education Team to facilitate structured learning in the practice area.
  • Act as a positive role model whilst supporting and teaching learners both in the classroom and in clinical practice.
  • Support learners and supervisors in the practice assessment process, especially when learners are experiencing problems either personal or professional and escalate concerns to the appropriate Practice Educator.
