Description
Responsibilities:
- Fill prescriptions according to physicians' orders.
- Perform medication reconciliation.
- Explain medication information to patients and their families.
- Contact physicians' offices and hospitals with questions about patient medications.
- Keep good records.
- Be able to read medical documents.
- Be familiar with standard and commonly prescribed medications.
- Stay uptodate on developments in the field of medicine to ensure that patients are getting the best possible care.
Salary:
£10.50-£11.00 per hour
