Job Title
Trainee Administrator/ Administrator - Corporate Actions (Jersey)


What is the opportunity?
You will ensure all Corporate Action Events are completed correctly and in a timely manner.


What will you do?

  • Review and analysis of subcustodian notifications/confirmations events via SWIFT
  • Liaise with agents where event information or documentation is unclear/incomplete and additional clarification is required to correctly set up IMActions events
  • Reconcile and input of entitlements resulting from corporate actions events to client accounts, in line with any currency deadlines allowing for positioning by the Treasury Services team
  • Adhere to risk management controls/procedures throughout the event management of all allocated Corporate Actions
  • Handle of all tasks allocated and control sheet completion
  • Support other functional areas in Securities Operations where excessive volumes or increased risks to the business may present themselves
  • Escalation to Supervisor/Assistant Manager of all matters which may present a financial or reputational risk

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Previous office administration experience
  • Be systems literate, possessing good keyboard skills & a high degree of accuracy
  • Good communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Team player, willing to support colleagues and work additional hours when required
  • Works on own initiative & assumes ownership for getting the job done
  • Keen to learn & possesses an inquisitive mind

Nice-to-have

  • Good understanding of corporate actions and the associated impacts
