Warehouse AssistantSalary Up to 24k
Full-Time (40hrs per week)
No Weekends / Early / Late Shifts

The Opportunity
We are looking for a proactive
Warehouse Assistant to join our innovative telematics business and support us to ensure the smooth and effective running of the warehouse inventory function.
This is a small but friendly team. You will be joining a very supportive manager who has worked his way up though this business. You will have responsibility for overseeing inventory levels by conducting stock checks, monitoring movement, and updating inventory records. You will process incoming and outgoing orders, coordinating with suppliers and customers.

Nationwide Fleet Installations has very recently acquired Avian Fleet, uniting two of the UK's largest independent installers. We stand at the forefront of the fleet installations and telematics solutions industry in the UK. Our expertise encompasses comprehensive mobile installation and servicing of advanced telematics and diverse vehicle technologies.
With over one million on-the-road installations under our belt, we have honed our skills to meet the dynamic needs of fleet operators and vehicle equipment providers.
Warehouse Assistant Overview
- Accurately recording stock movements between customers, warehouse, and engineers
- Responding to internal and external queries relating to stock availability
- Maintaining MS Access databases
- Being proactive by identifying any potential problems before they occur
- Picking and packing of orders, including the assembly of installation / service kits
- Booking deliveries with our couriers and transport partners
- Ordering of parts and consumables for the engineering team
- Assisting with regular stock counts
- Ensuring all set processes and procedures are followed and adhered to
Hours of work
- Working hours
- Monday
- Friday
- 8:30am to 5:00pm.
- 4.30 pm finish on Fridays.
- 45minute lunch break

Is this role for you?
Skills Required:
- Must have a keen eye for detail. ensuring accurate inventory management, order processing, and recordkeeping.
- Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions quickly and effectively to minimize disruptions in warehouse operations.
- Good PC skills, with experience of MS Office packages.
- Must be physically fit. the role often involves physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving heavy items, therefore physical fitness and stamina are important.
- The ability to multitask and prioritise conflicting deadlines and workloads
Experience we are looking for:
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
- Experience with inventory control systems, stocktaking procedures, and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Knowledge of order fulfilment processes, picking and packing procedures
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment
Salary:
£22,380.00-£24,000.00 per year
