Maintenance Handyperson
An exciting position has become available for a full-time Maintenance Handyperson based at Oxford Brookes University.

You will be an experienced, reliable and highly motivated Maintenance Handyperson (Buildings) as a member of the Estates Team to undertake planned, preventative and responsive maintenance across residential and academic buildings within the University Estate, working on both commercial and domestic buildings.

Maintenance Handyperson (Buildings) play a proactive role within a motivated and innovative team, delivering key objectives to meet directorate and university wide requirements.

Maintenance Handyperson Responsibilities

To carry out planned, preventative and reactive building services across the University's Estate, including maintenance of service records, maintenance schedules and Service Desk PPM's.

Maintenance Handyperson Role Requirements

Previous experience in mechanical, building or electrical services maintenance
GCSE Maths and English or equivalent; City and Guilds or NVQ2 qualification in an appropriate trade or a recognised apprenticeship in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent qualification, or qualified through proven practical experience in a related discipline
