Their Legal500 & Chambers ranked team provide advice on a wide range of commercial matters across a number of sectors, working with clients including research institutions,life sciences and large blue chip companies amongst others.


As part of their continued success and strategic growth plans, FPSG are assisting this firm to appoint an Associate (NQ -3 year PQE) in either their Edinburgh or Glasgow offices; this position offers hybrid working.

Role Responsibilities

As Technology Solicitor/Associate, your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Advising clients on a range of high value and compleex IP related commercial agreements.
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in addition to working on projects and transactions in the IT and Telecoms sector.
  • Supporting the senior team members with marketing and business development activities, with the firm actively looking to develop your own commercial acumen in this regards as part of longer term career development.
Person Specification


As a successful Technology Solicitor/Senior Solicitor, our client is keen to bring on board a qualified Solicitor (NQ-3 years' PQE) who ideally has experience in a similar role position with a good knowledge of IP and IT related matters.


If you are currently working within a corporate and commercial legal practice and looking to make the move into a technology Intellectual Property practice then this would be an excellent opportunity for you.
