The role of Duty Supervisor requires the individual to work the 2-2-3 rota which consist of shift pattern 8am-8pm at allocated provisions, there is no remote working, all shifts are required to be at provisions and will be on-duty throughout the entire shift for allocated provisions and their staff teams.


Shift Pattern and Hours of Night on Duty Supervisor-

8pm-8am(sleep-in from 11pm)
2-2-3 Pattern, pro-rata


Week A- Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Week B- Wednesday, Thursday


Your Role and Responsibilities:

To undertake the Day supervisor role at allocated provision ensuring the overall safety, health, and wellbeing of the staff Team & young person's in-situ & provision

  • To make regular telephone calls/message checkins with staff at allocated provisions, offering support/guidance to all provision as required.
  • Update management on the communications platforms of any Significant events
  • Regular checks on 24hr report content, inclusive of any additional documents needed, liaise with respective provision staff to guide on any amendments or updates to information as needed for all provisions.
  • Ensure that all notifications are completed on the reporting log for each respective provision.
  • Ensure all protocols and procedures are followed in the event of any significant event occurs i.e. missing/accident/incident.
  • Ensure all Health & safety issues or concerns are reported.
  • Call those on standby if required for staff cover or to attend a provisions where extra support is required.
  • To support staff with occurring escalating events by encouraging deescalation techniques
  • Support staff encouragement supporting YPs who may be stranded or in need of support
  • Ensure that oncall duty notes are completed for all provisions, with salient details.
  • Ensure Day supervisors and staff teams receive robust handover following your shift

Requirements-

  • Due to the vulnerability of our young persons a robust vetting process is required for the successful applicants, therefore you must be able to provide the following,_
  • UK passport/Residence Permit to work in the UK
  • NI Number
  • Undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) through our agency or 3rd Party DBS on update service:
  • Proof of address:
  • Qualifications ie NVQ:
  • Provide 2 written references
  • Provide work history for the last 5 years with explanations of any gaps
  • A copy of insurance cover that includes business use, a copy of proof that the vehicle is taxed, has an MOT and is appropriately serviced:
  • Valid UK driving license

Pay:
Up to £12.59 per hour
