DC Personnel are recruiting for a permanent Night Shift Supervisor in the Market Harborough area of Leicestershire, LE16

18:00 - 06:00

Monday night - Friday morning. Fixed 12-hour shifts

Pay and remuneration
Starting salary £37,440 p.a. (£15p/h)

Attendance Bonus and Quality Bonus available

Potential for overtime depending on workload

Job summary

Our client is a specialist manufacturer of custom made products to the automotive and other industries and are looking to recruit a full time permanent night shift supervisor.

You will:

Work closely with the Production Manager to ensure that the manufacturing needs of the company are met
Communicate instructions, information and concerns from shift Handover and complaints
Follow instructions from the Production Manager to ensure that running and setting times are adhered to and reporting any issues directly to the Production Manager.
Monitor shift performance to ensure any mistakes are quickly rectified and where necessary lines are not producing scrap for extended periods of time.
Complete all paperwork to a high standard.
Ensure that all booking is accurate and properly recorded.
Use relevant measuring equipment
Monitor staff performance
Ensure all staff are looking after tooling and setting the lines in a timely fashion
Ensure the day to day cleanliness and safety of the shop floor
Organise staff breaks to ensure maximum productivity
Resolving daytoday staffing issues

Ideally you will have:

Previous managerial experience preferred
Good communications skills
Literate and numerate
Ability to create and manage a good team working environment
Proactive attitude towards Quality, and Health and safety.
