Early Years Educator
A brilliant Primary School in Southwark are looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join their team to support the learning of children in the EYFS classes and also being responsible for covering lessons too _It is a great role to gain experience on your journey to becoming a Teacher, Educational Psychologist or Speech and Language Therapist_


You will be based within a EYFS classroom and act as a positive role model to the pupils, work closely with the Teacher and EYFS Lead as well as continuously receiving high quality CPD.

This opportunity is not one to miss.

The role starts ASAP as a full-time role as an Early Years Educator for the full academic year

- £22,000 - £26,000 annual salary


Early Years Educator Responsibilities

  • Support the development of the children through a good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
  • Use effective practice to produce high quality provisions and interventions suited to all children
  • To support and record the pupils progress in reading, fine motor skills, simple mathematics and Phonics
  • Assist the children with their daily tasks, encourage independence and teaching key life skills
  • Be a key person during the transition between a Nursery setting and a Primary School setting through home visits
  • Contribute to oral and written assessments and the recording of the results to prepare pupils for external testing, including SEN assessments

Ideal Early Years Educator

  • A Level 3 CACHE/ Graduate from a reputable university
  • Previous experience working with EYFS aged children
  • A passion for education and creating an inspirational environment for children to flourish within
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative and confident to use your innovation to create fun and exciting activities
  • Ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding the role and the responsibilities
