Area Sales Manager

At Jewson Civils Frazer we are looking for an Area Sales Manager to join our team focusing on Ipswich and Kings Lynn.

This
Area Sales Managerrole sits within the local sales team where you will be working closely with consisting of a Key Account Manager and three Branch Sales Manager and you will be reporting to the Sector Sales Director.

What we're looking for:


For this role we are looking for someone passionate about sales and wants to be out in the field meeting customers and developing their portfolio.

Whilst experience within Civils would be beneficial we believe products can be taught, the unique factors thatmake someone a great sales person are more important

  • Proven experience in a proactive sales environment
  • Proven track record of results achievement
  • Ability to self manage within job role
  • Proven ability to communicate and influence effectively
  • Ability to network both within internal and external teams
  • Ability to work within a team locally, regionally, and nationally
  • Knowledge of distribution sector and geographical area an advantage, but not essential

What you will be doing:


In this role you will manage your own diary, some of the role can be worked from home or in one of our branches then the rest of the time you'll be on the road engaging with current and potential customers.

Some key duties may include

  • Support the introduction of sales of new and specialist products to customers within the Area to ensure sales and margin targets are achieved
  • Increase and maximize current sales volumes
  • Seek out opportunities to identify future and existing sales opportunities within the Area
  • Ensure that all areas of customer expectation are exceeded
  • Build close and trusted working relationships with operational colleagues to ensure excellent levels of customer service and satisfaction are delivered to customers and in order to achieve company's goals
