This is a part-time, temporary to permanent position, which could extend to full-time if workload dictates.

My client is a leading niche Electrical Contractor working in the Construction Industry, based in Central London, specializing in Leak Detection Systems in High-End Offices and Data Centres.

As part of their growing team, they are seeking a meticulous and organized Document Controller to assist in maintaining the efficiency of their document management system.
Position Overview:
As a Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing and organizing project documentation throughout the construction lifecycle.
You will collaborate closely with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure that all documents are accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible.
This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to document control processes.Key Responsibilities:
Document Management:
Establish and maintain an effective document control system for both electronic and hard copy documents.
Ensure the proper naming, filing, and version control of documents.
Regularly review and update document control procedures to align with industry standards and project requirements.
Collaboration:
Work closely with project teams to collect, process, and distribute documents in a timely manner.
Collaborate with subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders to facilitate document exchange and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of project documentation.
Identify and rectify any discrepancies or issues promptly.
Communication:
Effectively communicate document control procedures to project teams and stakeholders.
Provide training and support to project personnel on document control best practices.
Technology Utilization:
Utilize document control software and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Stay informed about advancements in document management technology and recommend improvements as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Document Controller in the construction industry, preferably within the Electrical Sector.
- Familiarity with document control software and tools.
- Strong understanding of construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Detailoriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced construction environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

£20,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
