YOUR ROLE


Our Operation in Hamble is looking for a for a highly organized, accurate and focused Stock Inventory & Systems Controller where you will ensure the efficient and effective achievement of all contractual targets and KPIs through regular stock control activities.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting into the General Manager you will manage a team of 5 direct reports.

You will ensure that any discrepancies between the system and physical stock are monitored and investigated, plan an annual PI program based on data provided by the client and track progress against the plan.

You will generate stock counts through the clients system both against the formal PI program and for day to day operational requirements, issue and coordinate investigations into stock variances resulting from inventory counts, submit investigations to the client for authorization to adjust and carry out adjustments in the system.

You will create Stock Control Performance Reports and work directly with client to develop the WMS system.

The shift pattern for this role is Monday to Friday - flexible start time -8.5 hours shift.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?


You will have proven experience of working within a busy warehousing environment managing and monitoring stock levels, producing reports, statistical and root cause analysis.

You will embed best practices for stock management, with the ability to coordinate, collaborate and train teams around you.

You will be a natural communicator, possess strong numeracy skills.

It goes without saying that you will be IT Literate (Excel advanced level) with the ability to use WMS systems, accurate and precise with a high attention to detail, client focused, commercially aware and see the value in being a team player.
