We are looking for Director of Consulting Services to join their successful, stable, and growing team.
This can be working from home.

Director of Consulting Services (Business Growth)

  • Working from home
- £110-130K plus extensive benefits package

  • Security Clearance required
  • MUST have experience selling into Govt Depts. like DWP etc

Due to the secure nature of this work all applicants will be required to gain UK Security Clearance to at least SC level.

You must have been resident in the UK for at least the last 5 years and cannot have been outside the UK for more than 28 days on any oneoccasion within this time.


To be successful in this role:
You will be a confident and highly credible individual with experience of Business Process Consulting and/or Management Consulting.
This will likely have been gained in a Director of Consulting Services or similar role focused on Business Growth.
You will also need to be able to demonstrate some or all of the following skills and experience:

  • Highly driven & creative with ability to identify & work with a range of customers, understand their needs, & develop business & technical solutions with them
  • Demonstrable successful track record of solution selling & business development into UK Government departments
  • A strong business leader with a proven record of accomplishment in building, inspiring & generating new business (new client, new offering or new business area)
  • Proven track record of developing business across a range of IT services including consultancy, AD/M, systems integration solutions (design, build, finance, operate model), & longterm managed IT projects into UK Government sector
  • Ability to balance flair & innovation with commercial imperative
  • Able to build strong relationships both internally & externally
  • Must be comfortable in a working from home environment

Position summary:
To support & mirror the UK's levelling up agenda, our client is growing their Central Government Business Unit.

We are looking for a Director of Consulting Services to focus on Business Development with UK Government clients based in the North of England.


Job role and responsibilities:
This is a business development focused role with key objectives to develop relationships with new and existing clients. The Director of Consulting Services will report directly to the VP responsible for this Government Sector.
The role is working from home & day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Developing business & maintaining strong relationships with new & existing clients
  • Working closely with both sales & delivery teams to ensure opportunities for new business are realised
  • Ensuring the quality of services delivered to their assigned clients
  • Participating in the delivery of client engagements (as required)
  • Leading & managing to achieve targeted orders, revenue & profitability
