Permanent- Washington- Posted 1 hour agoWe are currently working with Energizer, who are looking for experienced production operators to join their growing team based in Washington.


Zenith People have been tasked with finding ambitious and hardworking individuals who are seeking long term permanent employment with real potential for personal development and progression.


Main Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure all tasks are carried out in an accordance with established standard operating procedures.
  • Operate semiautomated and automated high speed production equipment including setting tasks that require a high degree of dexterity and accuracy.
  • Responsible for Quality control and inspection procedures.
  • Achieve expected efficiency, quality, and quantity outputs.
  • Participate and contribute to ensure continuous improvement is achieved.
  • Any other duties commensurate with the position as and when required.

Knowledge and Experience:


  • 3 years' minimum experience in a highvolume manufacturing environment.
  • Capable of carrying out basic maintenance and setting tasks.
  • Demonstrate a good mechanical/technical aptitude.
  • Awareness/knowledge of statistical process control.
  • Good computer literacy.
  • Be flexible in availability to achieve manufacturing objectives and production plans.
  • Ability to work either a 3 shift or continental shift pattern.

Hours of work
Continental Shift

Continental Shift Pattern working 6am until 6pm and 6pm to 6am working 12-hour shifts on a 4 weekly rotation. Average working 42 hours per week with every other weekend off.

3 -Shift system

Week - Start time: 06.00 Monday to Friday inclusive

  • Finish time: 14.00 Monday to Thursday inclusive and 13.00 on Friday;
Week - Start time: 14.00 Monday to Thursday inclusive and 13:00 on Friday;

  • Finish time: 22.00 Monday to Thursday inclusive and 20.30 on Friday;
Week - Start time: 22.00 Sunday to Thursday inclusive;

  • Finish time: 06.00 Sunday to Thursday inclusive;

Ability to commute/relocate:


  • Washington, Tyne and Wear: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Production: Minimum 2 years

Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (preferred)
