We are looking to recruit 3 full time Band 3 Outpatient Department Administrators for our busy and thriving Outpatients departments at Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital, There will be one full time position for each of the main sites, the successful applicant will also be required to cover a satellite site when required.

We are looking for a friendly and dynamic individual with excellent communication and IT skills to help ensure the delivery of a high standard of administrative work, working closely with and supporting the clinical teams in meeting demands of the service.

The Outpatient Department Administrator will provide administrative support for the Senior Nursing Team (Junior Sister, Senior Sister and Senior Matron) This will include but not limited to:
Supporting the coordination of Healthroster and ESR Self-Service.

Support the Junior Sister with the rostering of staff following guidelines on safe staffing, including numbers and skill mix.

Supporting Managing leave i.e. Annual Leave, Study Leave, Sickness Leave. Etc

Maintaining the system to ensure all changes, leave and sickness are inputted correctly

Maintain NHSP bookings on a daily basis and escalating any concerns with safe staffing.

Recording of appropriate staffing files i.e. Return to Work interviews etc

Maintenance of ORBIT (Outpatients Room Booking and room booking requests with supervision from the Junior Sister

Being a first point of contact for the above responsibilities and escalating where necessary.
