We now have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Security Officer to join the team, to provide security services to a site in York city centre.

The position:

Permanent
Fulltime 4 on, 4 off, nights shift pattern; 19:00 07:00 hours
A valid
SIA Door Supervisor Licence is essential

Main responsibilities:

Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry
Conducts locks and unlocks
Obtains help by sounding alarms
Prevents any losses and damage by reporting irregularities
Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
Liaises with the inhouse team
Light facilities management duties

Required skills and attributes:

SIA Door Supervisor Licence
1 years' experience in a similar role (preferable)
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to communicate clearly with the general public and engage/advise when necessary
Ability to deal with uncertainty
Strong surveillance skills
Professionalism
A full, clean, UK driving licence (preferred but not essential) and own transportation to site
