We are currently seeking an individual to join our team as Associate Product Specialist in Equity Advisory, a core offering in our Prism Advisory service within our Investment & Wealth Solutions Group.
Equity Advisory is a service offering bespoke single stock portfolio solutions in line with client investment criteria and risk tolerance.
The role will support the delivery of the Equity Advisory offering within the UK and Channel Islands booking centres.
Key Responsibilities:
- The individual would also benefit from intellectual curiosity and desire to stay informed on key topics on the stocks commonly used within our equity offering, and have the appetite to read up on analysts' preferences.
- The role will also build relationships with both external stakeholders such as clients but also internal stakeholders such as Relationship Managers, Investment Counsellors and other members of the Equity Advisory team globally. We service a wide range of clients all from High Net Worth to Ultra High Net Worth and Family Offices so adaptability in communication skills is important.
- Take an active part in external client events as well as Global Equity Sub Committee and Stock Committee meetings.
- Any previous understanding of equity markets generally or valuation techniques is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills would be a critical element.
- Experience in an equities or sales focused position from an Asset Management, Wealth or Global Markets environment.
- A good understanding of company financial statements and equity valuation methodologies
- Ability to work in a team environment, adapt to an entrepreneurial group and to think and act independently.
- Excellent oral and written skills of English is a prerequisite with other languages an additional benefit
- FCA Level 4 or higher. MBA / CFA charterholder or progress towards CFA designation a plus
