About us
Nicab Ltd is a small business in the cable assembly industry, based in Silverstone.

We are looking for a Part Time Cable Technician to join our growing team.

This position offers flexible working hours, and are willing to accommodate most reasonable requests with a minimum of 16 hours per week.

We have a fast-paced environment that endorses collaboration, and is also very rewarding knowing the products we assemble are installed into anything from audio and lighting equipment for the entertainments industry to life saving devices.

This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge in the cable assembly industry is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

We offer IPC training for our employees so they get all of the knowledge needed to produce assemblies to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Follow technical drawing to assemble cables using various tools.
Communicate with team members and line managers with issues that arise throughout the work day.
Work within set target times.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
Adhere to safety standards when working.
