Business Analyst

£350 to £400 Inside IR35

This role will start in January 2023 and is initially a 6-month contract

The role will be based in Farringdon (London), Hybrid working model


We are currently engaged with a?large logistics organisation which operates in 44 countries around the world and is currently the 5th largest employer in the UK.

We are seeking a?Business Analyst?to assist them?on an?exciting project managing teams/suppliersdelivering in challenging environments?to support a?large-scale?portfolio of Logistics & Supply Chain based projects.

What will you be doing?

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our Reed Professional Services team

working with Royal Mail's expanding Commercial IT and Parcels team. This is a key Technology

function within Royal Mail and will be responsible for defining and delivering technology solutions. The role will support an array of projects from Parcels inflight enhancements, return and outbound

services. You will lead and manage the project delivery process working closely with internal

stakeholders (at all levels) as well as external software partners to ensure they deliver.


Essential:

  • Strong requirements management skills (projects are typically delivered in a Waterfall framework
- with deliverables required to pass through a gating process)

  • Good Process Modelling skills
  • Good stakeholder management skills (working closely with business, operational and IT)
  • Demonstrable experience as working as a Business Analyst for large complex organisations.
  • Proven experience in requirements gathering and process mapping.
  • Interpersonal skills/effectiveness (Communication, Influencing and Collaboration, Listening,
  • Conflict Management).
  • Vendor/Supplier management experience, in a multisupplier environment.
  • Experienced at working within both Waterfall & Agile project environments.
  • A proactive approach to work.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration

Desirable:

  • Previous experience of working for a logistics company
  • Previous experience of working for a consultancy
