There has never been a more exciting time to work in People Services (Human Resources) in the NHS, particularly in Somerset as our two ambitious, innovative and people focussed organisations; Somerset Foundation Trust and Yeovil Hospital are on a journey to become one in 2023.

The HR Advisory team are embarking on our integration to deliver services for our colleagues across Somerset and this role provides an exciting opportunity to be part of this transformational work.

As part of People Services you will be crucial to ongoing work for an inclusive environment where principles of a restorative, just and learning culture are central to how we manage our HR/people processes.

As an ambassador for People services you will champion a people before process approach and your excellent communication, coaching and collaboration skills will equip you to guide managers to compassionate decisions and outcomes.

You'll need CIPD L5 or working towards this, with proven experience of working in a similar role, NHS experience is not essential.

What is really important is that you are someone who naturally adopts a coaching style to navigate through a range of people matters, encouraging ownership and supporting learning, reflection and change.

The role offers a hybrid model of work with a mixture of home/office working and will require some travel across sites.
