Description
Working for this successful contract in the construction sector, you will take control of the full buying and cost control function for the business - this is a new position within the business taking the responsibility off one of the Directors.
It's a full time position that could be a 80/20 split between working from home / from the office in Stoke.
You'll need to be proficient in Xero, SAP, or similar systems for procurement and inventory management and will need a strong understanding and knowledge of buying in the plumbing & heating industry.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize procurement activities
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and delivery terms
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify costsaving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns that may arise
- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply while minimizing excess stock
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management

Salary:
Up to £45,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
