Description

Starting as soon as practicable, the School is looking for a new Examinations Officer to lead the effective administration and compliance of examinations and assessment in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations.

Ensuring the integrity of the assessment process, this role will closely liaise with key stakeholders (external and internal) to ensure exams administration processes are strictly followed and key deadlines are met.

The Examinations Officer will take an ethical approach and work proactively with the Head of Centre to avoid malpractice among students and staff, through taking all reasonable steps to prevent the occurrence of any malpractice/maladministration before, during the course of, and after examinations have taken place.

Ideally with some previous Examinations experience (although training will be provided), this role requires an organised and flexible individual who has meticulous attention to detail alongside strong communication skills.

The role is an average of 30 hours per week, all year around however due to the cyclical nature of the role, there is a requirement to work significantly more hours during key examination points and bank these hours to be taken as time off in lieu at quieter points in the year.

There is a requirement for the individual to work throughout the results season in August.
