Mechanic apprentice/ assistant

At Trucksmith we are seeking a proactive individual to support our fully skilled HGV mechanic in a variety of tasks in our service department.

This would suit someone who is looking for an entry level into a career working on HGV trucks.

An LGV level 1 or 2 technician is desirable however not essential. Some technical knowledge is required along with practicality, a commitment to health and safety and great attention to detail.

You will assist in ensuring that vehicles are repaired within the required deadlines and to the highest standards, ensuring the a superb level of service is always provided to our customers.

You will help maintain the excellent reputation of our well established service department with your diligmce and positive attitude to the job in hand.

Hours: 8am - 4.30pm Mon - Fri.

Wage will be commensurate with experience and will be discussed at interview. Interviews to be held week commencing the 21stAugust.
