We are seeking an outstanding individual to contribute to teaching, consultancy and research to deliver curriculum on Higher Degree Apprenticeship and IT Management programme.

You should have a strong academic background with significant experience in leading and training in a commercial environment.

The area of expertise you will be involved in will be including but not limited to strategic analysis and management of information systems, work-based review, learning and reflection of personal and professional skills development, management of change in context of IT infrastructure and digital information structures, systems, and processes.


You will be joining the Digital Analytics and Technology group, which is responsible for the delivery of Digital Technology and Data Analytics degrees at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and Degree Apprenticeship programmes.


You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality learning experience to students and contributing to the development of new and exciting courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

You will be expected to be involved in module leadership and delivery, to contribute specialist topics, to supervise dissertations, liaise with industrial partners and to engage in academic and applied research.


As well as the ability to design and deliver transformative and innovative learning experiences, you'll need well developed and current knowledge and understanding of critical, practical, and theoretical issues relevant to managing enterprise projects, business analysis as a practice, and planning, management, and implementation of digital projects.

A Masters degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience in industry is essential. A PhD in a relevant discipline is desirable.

You will join a large and vibrant Computing Department that actively engages in teaching, research, and commercial consultancy.
