Description

Our client is a reputable and growing business located near Oxford. They have a newly created permanent requirement in their business for a Finance Manager.

Reporting into the Partners, you will be responsible for:

Preparation of the annual budget based on targets set by Partners, estimating future capital expenditure, projected salaries and overheads.
Calculation of the internal costs and charge out rates for staff by grade.
Monitoring profitability by project and advising the Partners of any issues.
Preparing management accounts annually to include depreciation and work in progress.
Preparing and updating the cash flow forecast on a monthly basis for Partners meetings.
Preparing the monthly payroll, including payments to employees and submissions to the Inland Revenue and the company pension.
Attending monthly meetings to deliver management and financial reports including fees forecast to the Partners.
Liaising with the external Accountant to ensure that Partners tax matters are calculated and adequate cash reserves are in place for tax payments to HMRC.
Monitoring and checking the credit control and invoicing function.
Authorise supplier payments internally and at bank as required.
Completing the annual returns and quarterly VAT returns for the organisation.

On offer is a salary of 45-50k (depending on experience), plus good benefits and some flexible hybrid working.
