Are you an experienced Legal Secretary looking for an opportunity to join a Succession and Tax team with a leading UK law firm based in Bristol or Southampton? This is a rapidly growing area of our firm, and you can expect plenty of opportunity to develop your skill set and to be involved in some interesting and challenging work. This is a superb opportunity if you are looking to use your existing legal secretarial experience to take responsibility for the progression of legal cases from start to finish in a leading UK law firm.

What you'll do:


  • Offer full Legal Secretarial support to the fee earners within a fast paced team
  • Take responsibility for all travel and diary management ensuring the fee earners have everything required for their meetings
  • File management tasks to ensure full compliance with practices including, Lexcel, Code of Conduct, and antiMoney Laundering
  • Produce and amend precedent letters and Housestyle documents (including dictation)
  • Respond to queries from clients and other stakeholders on behalf of your fee earners, ensuring excellent and clear communication at all times

What we're looking for


You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of providing high quality secretarial support within a legal or professional services environment.

With excellent clear, concise, and effective written communication skills you will also possess great attention to detail and have strong Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.

Strong organisational skills are a must in the role as is the ability and confidence to communicate effectively with our stakeholders whilst dealing with highly confidential information with tact and sensitivity.
