Team / Role Overview:


Markets provide world-class solutions that are as diverse as the needs of the corporates, institutions, governments, and individual investors we serve in 160 countries and territories.

The breadth, depth, and strength of our underwriting, sales and trading, and distribution capabilities span asset classes and currencies, sectors and industries, covering a vast array of products.


The Markets Transformation team works with all Markets businesses and Citi functions, including Legal, Compliance, Finance, Risk and O&T to identify, mobilize and execute responses to regulatory and cross-business transformational projects.

The primary mission of the team is to design and implement integrated solutions and sustainable capabilities in the most efficient and effective way for MSS and its clients.

Examples of major programs that Markets Transformation currently (or recently) manage include:

Brexit; Dodd-Frank Title VII; EMIR/Re-Fit; FRTB; IBOR Transition; Markets Conduct Risk; MiFID / MiFIR; and multiple specific APAC/EMEA/NAM Regulations.


This role is a key member of the Markets Transformation Strategy and Business Management Team, providing operational and business process management support, with a heavy focus on assisting with external resource sourcing, Financial Reporting and third party vendor management.


Responsibilities:


  • Daytoday coordination with new and existing third party resource vendors
  • Liaising with Business Activity Owners, Third Party Offices, Procurement teams, Buying Desks and Staffing Offices across NAM / EMEA with regards to third party vendor engagement and resource onboarding
  • Effectively communicating with key stakeholders both internal and external to Markets Transformation
  • Ensuring Markets Transformation resourcing processes are in compliance with CEMP, TPM and other Citi Policy standards
  • Tracking internal / external resource training completion across Markets Transformation
  • Tracking headcount and financials across Markets Transformation
  • Supporting internal queries from project / hiring managers and Markets Transformation management team relating to projects / program resourcing
  • Reporting of Non-Employee headcount across Markets CAO, ensuring resources are tagged to the correct portfolio
  • Assisting with the planning and production of midyear and annual budget submissions for the MSS Transformation team globally

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:


  • Experience of resource recruitment processes / project staffing / vendor liaison / third party onboarding and management within a project / consulting environment
  • Experience of dealing with third party resourcing vendors
  • Experience of using MS Excel, and being able to sort and/or manipulate large data sets
  • Experience of project reporting
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and organizational
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, to effectively produce management information to stakeholders

Qualifications:


  • Appropriate experience & delivery track record is essential
  • Understanding of external resourcing processes / third party risk management would be beneficial

Education:


  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
