Summary


Ergonomic Seating Solutions manufacture high quality ergonomic office seating to improve the comfort, support and wellbeing of people across the UK and abroad.


Due to growth within the company we are looking for a conscientious team player with practical skills, a willingness to learn and an eye for detail to join our growing team.


This role will provide support to the hardworking production team by assisting with meeting targets and helping to maximise production efficiency.

The role will involve working across all areas of the business including helping with ply board preparation, gluing foams, cutting fabrics ready for sewing and upholstery and assembly of the final product.

Prior experience working within a furniture manufacturer is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

This role provides an opportunity to work in a progressive and successful business.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Working with the team to ensure that daily/weekly targets are met
  • Preparation of materials for assembly
  • Cutting of materials in preparation for sewing/assembly
  • Furniture assembly
  • Stock control, Goods in/out
  • Minimising wastage
  • Ensure quality is at the forefront of everything and help to drive process improvements
  • Ensure that all staff are made to feel an integral and valued part of Ergonomic Seating Solutions
  • Support any other duties required of you as may reasonably be determined by the Managing Director and Manager

Hours

8am - 5pm, Monday-Friday
