Our Burnley site is seeking to strengthen their Quality Team. We are recruiting for a Press Shop Patrol Inspector.

The purpose of the role will be to monitor the quality of production ensuring Quality levels within the Pressing Department.

You will be working as part of a team.

This role will require you to train on the 2pm-10.15 pm shift with a view to moving onto permanent nights, once fully trained.

The night shift operates from 10.00 pm am Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities will include:

Responsible for inspection of Pressed components in accordance with Quality Processes and Technical specifications. To generate and maintain inspection documentation in accordance with the relevant Quality process. Effective liaison, reporting of technical issues to Production staff and Management, as required.

Patrol Inspection during production within the Press Shop
Carry out first off reports
Calibration and issue of gauges, drawings & customer quality requirements
Isolation of nonconforming product
General inspection duties

Skills Required:

Good communication skills with attention to detail.

Experience in the Quality processes within a manufacturing company

Computer Skills

Good system skills including MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook is also desirable

Salary dependent upon qualifications and experience.
