Operations Supervisor

Liverpool
We are looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor/ Manager within the area of Traffic Management. Coming from a traffic management operative background would be ideal for this hands on position.


Managing a small team of operatives, however, due to steady growth of the business and plans for expansion this will increase.


The role:


  • Supervising and monitoring the performance of the team to ensure delivery of service to the agreed standard and timetable
  • Implementing and maintaining the monitoring system to demonstrate compliance and effectively managing and processing within SLA
  • Planning, preparing and continually improving current methods
  • Selfconfidence and vision to lead and shape a team and a service
  • Desire to develop and is motivated to achieving targets
  • Flexible attitude and willingness to travel to multiple site locations when required
  • Experience and understanding of working on the public highway
  • Experience and understanding of civil engineering contracts, CDM regulations, and risk management
  • Timely and accurately capturing cost data relating to processing of Traffic Regulation Orders and SIDs working within the requirements of service orders
  • PC Literate and knowledge of MS suite Word, Excel,etc

  • Completed up to M7 qualification
  • Hands on, team player and ambitious
  • Excellent communication skills
