    At Stantec-Consulting-International-Ltd, our team is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge digital solutions and smart applications for water quality management, urban pollution reduction, and sustainable development.

    We offer an exciting portfolio of projects across the UK & Ireland, with opportunities to collaborate with top industry professionals. We're seeking a Principal Wastewater Network Modeller to join our team in Brighton or another Southern office, contributing to excellent work done by the team.

    This role involves working with an interdisciplinary team of 175 personnel from Stantec, clients, and consultant/contractor partners, collaborating on projects throughout the UK & Ireland.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Providing technical leadership for wastewater modelling projects.

    • Developing and delivering innovative technical solutions for Stormwater Overflows, Water Quality Management, Developer Assessments, Flood Investigations, and more.

    • Collaborating with specialist teams to develop new tools and procedures within Wastewater Modelling, enabling expert solutions for clients.

    • Planning and coordinating project delivery, including cost estimates.

    • Line managing junior team members, providing mentorship and supervision of technical outputs.

    About You

    We're looking for degree-qualified candidates with Civil Engineering, Geography, or relevant subject backgrounds, and membership of an industry-relevant institution, e.g., ICE, CIWEM. Previous experience leading projects in urban drainage environments and demonstrating technical expertise in urban drainage modelling activities is required.

    The successful candidate will have experience in staff management and development, ability to integrate well into a team, provide technical leadership in urban drainage environments, and have an excellent client service focus.
