An acquisition driven, global insurance business is currently recruiting for a Group Financial Controller to join its Finance Senior Leadership Team.

Reporting to the Deputy Group CFO, the Group Financial Controller will be a key member of the Finance function in this hands on role.

You will manage / support the production of all internal and external financial, regulatory and ad hoc reporting requirements,and will manage the month and quarter end reporting timetable and consolidation process.

You will have oversight of the day-to-day accounting functions across the group. The role requires strong leadership abilities, including the ability to build and fostera high-performing Finance team.

Applicants must be qualified accountants with significant post qualification experience gained within a non-life (re)insurance business, have experience in group management reporting and / or statutory and regulatory reporting, working across multi-currenciesand ideally including responsibility for group consolidation and close process, and possess strong people leadership skills including experience in managing, motivating and developing staff.
