Senior Accountant

Salary:
£55,000 + Bonus + Profit Share
A boutique Real Estate / Private Equity fund administrator is looking to onboard a Senior Accountant. Its strategy of providing bespoke and tailored services has allowed it to win many key clients from its competitors.

The business has strong profit margins,meaning that employees have a great work-life balance and also share in the business's success through a profit share scheme.

The company is in the unique position where they are turning down business due to such high demand, ensuring that before taking onnew clients that the team has the bandwidth - placing people at the focus of what they do.

Key Responsibilities

Analysis of SPV / financial entities and reporting to board
Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts, including variance analysis
Act as a key point of contract for clients building on the relationship and providing best in class services
Preparation of year end financial statements (UK GAAP & IFRS)
Assisting with business proposals to prospect clients
Management of the trainee accountants
Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA ACA) or strong finalist
Good academics; ideally a 2.1 from a reputable university or strong alevel performance
The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
The ability to work with external stakeholders and manage expectations
