About Our Client:
Our client is a national container and site accommodation supplier, with headquarters in the city of Southampton, Hampshire. We cover the entire UK through strategically located depots across the country.
Our clients in-house transport division, self-storage site set-up consultancy and conversions business ensures we're able to assist customers across their entire journey, while limiting the economical and environmental impact on their business or vision.
The main responsibilities for the Customer Service Assistant role is:- **Customer Support**:
- Provide accurate information about products, services, pricing, and promotions to assist customers with their inquiries and purchasing decisions.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues effectively, demonstrating empathy and professionalism to ensure customer satisfaction.
Sales Generation:
- Proactively identify opportunities to up sell or crosssell products and services based on customer needs and preferences.
- Utilise product knowledge and sales techniques to promote additional items, upgrades, or complementary products to enhance the customer's purchase experience.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and goals by actively promoting products, overcoming objections, and closing sales opportunities.
Order Processing:
- Assist customers with placing orders, processing payments, and managing account information accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with internal departments, such as inventory management and shipping, to ensure timely order fulfilment and delivery.
Relationship Building:
- Build rapport and establish longterm relationships with customers by providing personalised service and demonstrating a genuine interest in their needs and preferences.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with their purchases and address any additional needs or concerns they may have.
The Successful Applicant:
- Previous experience in customer service or sales roles, with a demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate product features and benefits persuasively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor that fosters positive relationships with customers.
- Detailoriented and organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- Salesdriven mindset with a passion for achieving results and exceeding expectations.
- Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other sales tools to track customer interactions and sales activities.
