Description

The Finance Business Partner will support the senior management team in delivering business performance through analysis, insight, and business partnering with key stakeholders.


Responsibilities:


  • Proactively support Function Leaders, Global Process Owners, Service Owners, and their respective Project Managers in delivering their financial objectives, highlighting significant variances against the plan and working with all stakeholders to agree on compensatory measures. Provide timely and accurate information on all aspects of finance to help Functions stay on track against budget and provide meaningful analysis of actual results.
  • Provide ongoing support to the Finance leaders within our Service Centres, local offices, and regional Finance leadership as required, regarding PBS Program costs and their allocation, ensuring transparency and fairness. Provide timely responses to internal and external inquiries.
  • Take responsibility for accurate annual budget setting, quarterly forecasting, and regular monthly reporting for the assigned PBS function as well as providing cover for the rest of the team on other PBS functions.
  • The exact scope of the role is constantly expanding and changing, the role requires a flexible, cando, thinkingbeyondthebox attitude.

Skills and Experience:


  • Relevant undergraduate degree (2:1 classification or above preferred)
  • Newly Qualified PQE accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Some experience in a finance role
  • Expert knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Knowledge and experience in financial systems (SAP preferred), advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills with the ability to present to senior management and a personable, friendly approach are very important.
  • Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
