Description

To provide the highest level of customer care & service through the provision of an efficient, knowledgeable & friendly reception service for members & customers.


  • Administer the membership system, liaising with members & prospective members, dealing with direct debit & payroll collection. Checking membership reports for accuracy & maintaining contact with members that miss payments to encourage a prompt resolution in a positive & friendly manner.
  • Accepting, recording & confirming bookings for all centre facilities including meeting rooms using outlook.
  • Control entry to the building ensuring all members/visitors 'sign' in at reception prior to entering facilities.
  • Be fully conversant with all details of membership options, centre activities & class programme.
  • Ensure all deadlines related to payroll are met.
  • Maintain day sheets.
  • Actively contribute to social media posts.
  • Respond to online queries.
  • Collate record & report statistics as required.
  • Process all credit cards & direct debit payments from till.
Working as part of a small team at DCHW whilst being part of the wider organisation offering a full range of personnel development and career opportunities if desired


Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.
