WHAT TO EXPECT
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to join our software release community.


Not only will this role have the opportunity to liaise with a wide set of stakeholders, you'll be responsible for identifying the needs both in terms of the users, adjacent project owners in the SDLC and regulatory requirements.


In addition, you'll have the opportunity to create a product roadmap which not only provides continual incremental improvement but also enable challenge to change the way we work to truly progress.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Eliciting requirements from stakeholders to improve Software Development Process within JLR and identify features needed
  • Leading the harnessing of SW engineering data needed for release by utilising data processing and visualisation tools
  • Creating bespoke tools where required to support automation and data visualisation
  • Create and maintain a prioritised backlog of changes needed for delivery team(s) ensuring business value deliverables within the Agile framework
  • Showcase delivery increments and seek stakeholder validation to realise the incremental value
  • Manage performance of team members as a shared responsibility with Technical Discipline Heads

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Track record of successful delivery of large complex software projects through the use of Agile techniques
  • Proven experience in manipulating large complex data sets for visualization and informed decision making
  • Demonstrate a high level CI/CD understanding and experience in creating automated pipelines
  • Demonstratable experience in SW release management, dependency and deployment management
  • Proven ability to build high performing software development teams
  • Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and communicate at all levels
  • Degree in Software Engineering or similar field or relevant industry experience
