Job Role


The Accounts Payable Assistants responsibilities will include - processing a high volume of supplier invoices, dealing with invoice queries, reconciling supplier statements, ensuring supplier accounts are accurate.

Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

This post requires someone who is used to working with high volumes of transactions, with good accuracy and attention to detail as well as good communication skills and a pleasant telephone manner.


Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Processing a high volume of supplier invoices
  • Processing Credit Card (including Pleo) transactions
  • Maintaining the paperless filing system
  • Dealing with invoice queries
  • Supplier reconciliations
  • Setting up new suppliers
  • Ensuring accuracy of Navision
  • Accurate input of all data
  • Collection and distribution of daily post
  • Answering calls
  • Any other adhoc duties

Skills (includes Key Competencies)

  • IT Skills, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office and Excel, Navision desirable.

Experience and Qualifications

Essential

  • Good general standard of education
  • Experience in Accounts Payable
  • Excellent communicator and interpersonal skills
  • Good organisational skills and can work in a methodical manner
  • Time management skills
