We are currently seeking a hardworking, reliable and detail oriented individual to fill the role of a general contractor.

The General Contractor will be responsible for the preparation and coordination of all aspects of the project from start to finish.

This position will be responsible for ensuring that all construction documents are accurate, timely, and in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

Essential Duties

• Prepare construction documents such as plans, specifications, purchase orders, and other construction documents for project delivery to local subcontractors and/or owners.
• Coordinate with project managers on schedule and ensure that all subcontractors are aware of their responsibilities.
• Ensure that all materials needed for the job are accounted for prior to the start of the job.
• Prepare estimates for the job site including site survey, soil comps, etc.
• Prepare bid packages for the bid writer to review and approve.
• Prepare submittals for review by the design team including plans review and specifications review.
• Perform other duties as assigned by project manager or supervisor.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must have professional appearance and communication skills.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract

Contract length: 12 months

Part-time hours: 50 per week


Salary:
£12.00-£13.00 per hour
