Job description
We are in need of a retail assistant passionate about providing good customer service. Although we are a small business, we are a busy store and it is a fast-paced environment.

Our customers are at the heart of everything we do which is why we are looking for friendly staff who can join our team who will seek to go above and beyond to provide our customers with outstanding service.

No prior knowledge with regards to African/Caribbean foods is required. We are looking for a part-time worker for around 25-30 hours per week.


Responsibilities include:

• Provide outstanding service to all of our customers which includes serving customers on the till.
• Be a good team player, working with the team to ensure stock is rotated and that the shop is kept clean, tidy and well presented.
• Take a positive, hard working approach to work with some flexibility with regards to shift patters/hours.

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 25-30 per week


Salary:
£7.49-£10.42 per hour


Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
All customers are required to wear masks. We also have various signs around the store together with sanitising stations and a plastic guard at the till.


Ability to commute/relocate:

• Smethwick B66 4BW: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)

- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
