About the role Balfour Beatty
have an exciting opportunity for a General Foreman
to join our Regional Civils
team based in Plymouth**.

Regional Civils undertake projects from
East coast to West Coast, from the south coast to the borders of Scotland.

From ground investigations and flood defence to complex roads and bridges; primary schools to world class universities; ground-breaking hospitals to city centre living; the depth of our experience and quality of our projects is something for us all to be proud of

As a
General Foreman you will manage the safe delivery of allocated worksites and projects to the required specification and quality standard; whilst achieving contract programme milestones, approved margin and cash forecasts.

What you'll be doing

Some other key areas will include:

Inputting into the production of Work Package Plans and Risk Assessments
Providing suggestions and recommendations for Temporary Works solutions
Identifying potential hazards and proactively implement actions and controls
Through observation and liaison with the workforce and subcontractors suggests improvement areas
Ensuring plant is adequate for the task prior to being used
Monitoring the performance of plant operators and appointed persons

Who we're looking for
You will have the following

Experience within
Highways & Civils:
Relevant industry experience at management level

Holds a valid UK driving license and CSCS Card:

Experience of monitoring key programme dates, e.g. TM switches, concrete pour dates etc.
