Day Shift PTS Train Cleaner Required at Welwyn Garden City Depot

_ New Requirement We have a new opening for a skilled and experienced Sentinel Card holder who holds both AC/DC PTS competencies (applicants without a this shall be considered for full training) to join a leading train operating company as a PTS Train Cleaner, performing a range cleaning tasks to ensure the trains are meeting cleanliness standards and are suitable for passenger service. _

We have a new opening for a PTS Train Cleaner to work at Welwyn Garden City Depot where you shall be tasked with a range of cleaning activities as part of the train presentation day shift team.


The Role:


As part of the train presentation team, you shall be tasked with interior train cleaning tasks such as deep cleans and full cleans (touch point cleaning, sanitising, hoovering, mopping, removing of rubbish & waste etc ) to ensure the trains are meeting the cleanliness standards and are presentable for passenger service.


This opportunity leads to a permanent position, with opportunities to progress as a Team Leader, Duty Leader and more within the train presentation area of the business.

However, with the organisation experiencing huge growth plans, there are also opportunities to progress within engineering, customer service and other key areas of the business.


Requirements:


A highly desired & skilled role requires you to hold a valid & in date Sentinel Card with both AC/DC PTS competencies for this position, along with a strong work ethic, good communication skills, reliability, and flexibility.

Working days are Monday - Friday with weekends available for overtime on the night shift (21:00pm - 04:00am) at managements discretion.

Working hours for the day shift are 08:00am start and 15:00pm.


Rates of Pay, Working Hours, and Benefits:

  • Standard Hours Monday
  • Friday (35 hours standard per week Monday
  • Friday )
  • £11.23 p/h
  • Overtime (nights)
- £16.73 p/h

  • Sunday's (nights) £19.52 p/h
  • 6 month initial contract with an opportunity to join on a permanent basis with various routes of career progression available.
